Lyrical Honey To Our Ears

While trying to come up with something to post today, we received a notice that our favourite band, British folk band, Mumford & Sons, had just posted a new video on their YouTube channel. Hurriedly we clicked over to behold their newest song/video, part of the the to-be-released CD 'Babel', coming out September 24, 2012. And here we present it to you.

Though nowhere NEAR as captivating as The Cave, or Dustbowl Dance, both from their first CD 'Sign No More', songs that literally comforted us in times of sheer desperation and personal struggle, I Will Wait is nonetheless lyrical honey to our ears. Lead singer-songwriter to Mumford & Sons, Ben Lovett, has a smooth inviting, yet rough and folksy voice, that when mixed with compelling and emotional lyrics paints a picture that can transfix and sooth a soul.

Check out their new song I Will Wait.

  1. I like them. I've never heard them before. I don't know too much about what's going on in the music world, but I can appreciate your comment on it being lyrical honey. It feels good to the ears and soul. I also think the video is perfect ... loved it!
