Something That Makes Us Laugh

We've been distracted all day with all sorts of stuff, (okay, so we've discovered the wonders of Skyping with people) but we have been trying to come up with ideas for writing topics for those days we aren't using this blog to discuss and/or share mental health information, and stories about our lives - mostly because concentrating on that all the time really takes it's toll on us.

So far one of the newer ideas we are considering is something we had a dream about the other day, the day we woke up and had dreamed that we had already written our blog post for the day.

We remember what the blog post was about, the one in our dream, and now we are considering it as an idea for a  post once a week. (if we can ever stick to any sort of topic schedule, which so far we have not been able to do…what can we say, we are hard to organize)

We are thinking of doing a recap of what has happened on Twitter; because that's what the post was about in our dream. It really shouldn't surprise anyone that when we dream it is sometimes about Twitter. After all, we wake up with Twitter, we eat with Twitter, we go to bed gripping Twitter in our hand; we are dating Twitter.

Boy, it would be nice if we could go to sleep gripping something else in our hand...but we digress.

So, back to that...A Twitter Report is what our newest idea is, to give us one more ways to keep us at writing on this blog – everyone needs something to write about it, and one of use things it would be interesting to try being a Twitter journalist. (She’s totally “lame”, and 15, so….don’t be too hard on her)

If we had decided to do one for today the topics would include mentioning last week’s high profile Twittercides, and what we thought about that; and that shit with @ThatGabi...that we missed, but it had everyone in a tizzy nad caused us to scout around for the story when we saw it repeat through our Timeline.

(Meanwhile, @ThatGabi...if you're reading, and you've gotten our messages, we're serious...we want to interview you – we’ve only gotten a little of the story about why you did what you did from reading your Timeline!)

We'd also recap world events as trended and seen through the eyes of tweeps on Twitter, highlighting some of the better tweets we saw, etc. – one of us figures that if anything this will help US keep up with what the hell is going on in the fleshie world (because she misses knowing what’s going on).

Because most of us think things are better for us are in the world of Twitter, and it’s different there than in the fleshie world, it makes us want to write about it, and the people in that world, even if some of them are not real, the person at the other end of the account is real.

In Twitterworld….the wars are smaller, there are almost no casualties, and they last less time (they also cost the tax payers nothing – aside from some sanity!), the weather is almost always nice, and people are mostly happy. It’s utopia - for those of us who choose to stay indoors a lot, (or even those who can take their Twitter addiction with them into the outdoors).

We've talked about the many reasons people are on Twitter, we've talked about our own, from what we've seen on Twitter these universal issues might include mental illness, family struggles, and/or life changes such as physical illness and job loss. Of course some are just there to be entertained, to create entertainment and/or amuse themselves.

We know some people take Twitter far less seriously, those are the people who aren't there enough to make friends and connections with amazing people all over the world, who probably have a great life full of no struggle and the sun always shines; those are the people we are glad don’t “get” Twitter. It's called social networking for a reason, and some people create relationships on Twitter with people that they would be more willing to defend than their own family members.

Blah. This was supposed to be about things that make us laugh

Speaking of things that make us laugh, this week’s newest #TeamAwesome members were:
@skankpassion @mermaid_tale @ChucksBitch @redpawn3 @doingithomeless @yourzipper @ACDClvr @SadisticG @so_not_blonde @tamytoo2 @Shivordan - if you're on twitter you should follow this list to find some pretty interesting, nice, unique, funny, and entertaining people - it really is a potpourri of many personality types, that appeal to many of ours.

We've done posts about #TeamAwesome, about who they are, why they are...and on #FF Fridays they are the only accounts we promo, they represent less than 6% our follows, it used to be 7% but we decided to change it, if only because it's an entire day of #FFing for us sometimes. If you want to know more about them just root around our blog. We’ll probably be doing another post about how much we appreciate them again soon though, so you can probably just wait for that.

We hope everyone had a good weekend, and as usual you can read some of our other writing (Recommendations), everything on this blog is yours for the reading...but not for the taking. This is our life, if it's gonna be taken, it's going to be by one of us.
Yeeeks....that sounds morbid.
Anyway, here's something that makes us laugh - we love Kids In The Hall...they are good Canadian humour, and we do love Canada....enjoy.

P.S. The Fuck Face update will be coming, not much new on that...yet. We'll continue to stalk him this week; we are all about torturing him now...

We Write About Writing

We’re not sure what to write about today. We actually had a dream about a blog entry and when we woke up and realized we hadn’t written it…man, were we sad. Sometimes we don’t want to write, but I made the rule, so …go figure.

I created the rule (I create all the rules) and when I am fully in charge it’s about the only time rules get followed; except yesterday when we went for drinks with Fuck Face. Yeah, yeah…don’t look at us like that. I hadn’t seen him in awhile. (who is Fuck Face? Read The Fuck Face - Our Mistress "Love" Story somewhere over on the left - it's a story in itself...*sigh*)

It was a nice time drinking with Fuck Face. We were fine. We behaved, he behaved. It was all good. We miss each other and with each drink it became like old times, which isn’t so good – because there was a lot of flirting and reminiscing. He knows better than to mess with us though. We hold the cards to his wife knowing the one thing that he didn’t tell her the truth about. He didn’t tell her that we work with him, that we are his employee. He told her we were a “volunteer” at our place of employment. He blushed when he told us that. Don’t fixate on it, we think it’s funny he tells us the truth (yes, we know some of you don’t think he has been telling us the truth), and not her; but in a "you're a fucking idiot and why do we love you *swoon* we're dumb" sorta way.

As we sat there at the pub, our regular place to go with him (but not our regular neighbourhood pub where we usually do all our tweeting from when we go out to drink somewhere instead of the grocery store, video store and street), and proceeded with our second drinks, he promised he wouldn’t be a dick and lead us down any back alleys and try to tempt us this time, like the last time we had been drinking post-"breakup".

However, by the time we left the place we were ready to lead him down some alleys, but we know better – even though some of us already torture him by sending him teasing messages, those of sexual reference. Emmie posts all sorts of dirty stuff on our Facebook wall that only he can see, stuff about taking us over the desks around work and things of that nature; then next thing you know Melody and Catherine will post things like “we don’t want to be your friend”, and “you’re not that great anyway.” And “actually kinda makes our stomach ill that we were just talking to you like friends do...”. Catherine is liking him less these days.

So whatever, we had drinks, we had a good time and there were no tears yesterday; and we had a great drunk walk home with our paper bag wrapped canned drink. Hot hobo anyone?

Someone asked us in a DM (Direct Message on Twitter - private message for those readers not familiar with Twitter) recently how to tell who is writing when we write, because some of think it’s hard to tell the difference between us…actually we get asked that a lot, how to tell. We never thought about it until recently because obviously we can tell who wrote what in our blog, and in our Tweets, and at the end of the day we enjoy entertaining you, but this is all (Blog and Twitter account) really here first and foremost for our benefit.

Some of our long time followers on Twitter, meaning those who have been following for a couple of months, can tell who is who in some of the things we write, the way we “say” it; and of course most people who have read our mapping project can kind of pick up on each of us because they “know” us a little.

My (Frank) rule is that we are all required to write something here in the blog every day, even if it’s just a picture, a video clip we’ve found, there has to be something. Some days more than one post ends up here, it just depends on how many people end up “driving the vehicle”(host/executive) and “being passenger”(sharing co-consciousness), and if they each have something they need to say or notes they need to leave for the rest of us.

When "I" ends up being used a lot then the person writing about their self is required to put their name at the bottom of the entry and tag it; that’s mostly for our readers though, to make things a little less confusing, and if they like one of us better, then they can just read the posts by that person.

We are trying to make sure that everyone gets credit for their writing and their feelings.

When I write it’s usually signed “et al” which mean “and others”. The others are not required to include each other in their post credits unless they are writing together and use some shared philosophy or ideas. Just like if you and a friend wrote a paper together using a combination of your thoughts and ideas.

This is confusing, we know, and if you just landed here today and this is the first of our writing you have read you’re probably more confused than the rest of our readers and friends.

That was all just our fancy way to explain how to tell who is writing each entry. When it comes to us on Twitter….just like in real life, sometimes it’s hard to tell, because we all have similar characteristics, but some of us have stronger ones than others. It’s hard to convince people we are all just like regular people…we just happen to share a body.

If you’re new here, we recommend reading some other stuff around this blog (or one of our other three). Most recently we did a “Who We Are” post that explains a little to our newest followers, now that Mental Health Month is over and we plan to do less writing about our illness and more fun stuff: http://just-call-me-frank.blogspot.com/2011/06/who-we-are-intro.html

We’re thinking of doing another post about Twitter and #TeamAwesome for tomorrow, it’s been about a month since we did one of those. Not sure. We’ll see what happens. We have some ideas on stuff to write, it just takes less Twitter and less drinking to get it done.

In any case, we hope you have an enjoyable weekend. We’re sorry if this post bored you. Check out our Recommendation page if you want more interesting reading that we’ve done (tab is at the top of this page). We plan to get a painting done this weekend, as long as the one who enjoys that sticks around, without her the painting don't turn out that great; so hopefully soon we can share one of those with you.

We Take A Night Off

Honest to god, we're not writing anything tonight. A TRUE night off...we haven't had one of those in a long time.

 Visit our Archives:
http://just-call-me-frank.blogspot.com/p/our-recommendations-weeded-from.html and check out stuff there. (we write a lot about living with Dissociative Identity Disorder/Multiple Personality Disorder, we write poetry, we paint, we write opinion and philosophy pieces...there is a shit ton of stuff in the archives...)

<----Or take a look to the left, there are a bunch of links to our writing there.

If you want to leave this blog look to your right, there are a bunch of good recommendations over there on the side.----->

Whatever you're doing here, get to know us before you judge us (and others like us)- and have a FANTASTIC Thursday, we're going to hang out on Twitter, and spend some time with
Fabulous Person, because mini-Fabulous Person is doing other stuff for the night, and The Pup had to go make some t-shirts!

OR watch this funny clip, it makes us ALL laugh.

OR watch one of our #TeamAwesome members show you how to make a grilled cheese sandwich:

That's Nicky, A.K.A. @NickSilly....he's a member of our #TeamAwesome and one of our very first biggest supporters...he's been with us since our beginning of Twitter (all the way back in mid-January of this year, 2011) (Who is #TeamAwesome? http://just-call-me-frank.blogspot.com/2011/04/for-us-its-all-about-team-awesomeand.html - please note that this post is about a month old, and some of the things have changed, most notable the StarGames, and some of the lists, because Twitter only lets you  have 11 lists or so.)

Nicky is an Amazon affiliate and we always suggest that if you buy stuff from that website you should buy through Nicky, because he helps us, we want people to help him <3

You can buy from Nicky here: http://amzn.to/8iuEsA

Oh, and ladies, he lives in Texas, he's cute, and sweet, and SINGLE :)

Anyway, we're gonna run off and do other things now!

Who We Are: An Intro

Added after posting: This should have been called "We Overuse The Word 'Stuff'" - HA!
Fuck.

We were supposed to be writing and instead we were eating yogurt and fucking around on Twitter.

We really haven't got much to say, maybe. We're not going to write about our stalking adventure today...we'll probably not write here in the blog about it for awhile - we don't want Frank to get too angry, she’ll find out, but until then mums the word!

So

It’s June 1st - Mental Health Month (May) is over, so now it's time for us to start writing other stuff, whilst mixing in some day-to-day-ish stuff. We can write a lot of stuff, we have written a lot of stuff. When you’re done here you should totally read a bunch of our stuff. Just hit the tab at the top called: Our Recommendations - Weeded From Our...Feeded? – Basically it’s the stuff we would recommend, because we don’t recommend you read everything here. Some of it is shit, and the older it is (like the first 6 months or more of this blog), the shittier it is, on average. That page is supposed to be updated at least once a week, providing we write something one of us feels is worthy to add there, and if we get agreement from at least another of us.

If you've recently stumbled upon this blog, or started following us on Twitter you're wondering who the hell we are; besides an amusing account that appears to be several different people sharing one account. So, for you’ve we’ve created this entry.

In truth we are many people sharing an account, but we also share a body. We "suffer" from Dissociative Identity Disorder (Multiple Personality Disorder). We’ve had it our whole life – that we can remember. The stories of “why we are” are on our other blog: http://issueoffrank.blogspot.com/ (where we sort relevant stories from here, to there, if they are a story/entry about our past).

We started this blog almost a year ago, The Other Girl...the original owner of The Body (known in DID as The Core), was meant to use this blog as a tool for therapy, as directed by Frank, and to write things for us; to try to ease the pain she was feeling about us, instead she started smoking even more pot than she had ever smoked (by the time we got rid of her she was spending $450/month of it – for herself/us), she went a little nuts, she broke up with our boyfriend of nearly two years, started binge dating...and then...well...the story of the past 9 months will unfold once we are done with the story of us; we’ve got roughly 3-4 more years of nonsense to fill in before we tell you about the weekend we killed The Other Girl, and some of the fucked up things we did with Fuck Face before you all started hearing about him. (<-old news now)

So, if you’re new to us...here is a little bit about why we are here on this blog (and on Twitter, after being forces there for work-related purposes) and why ...huh....lost that train of thought. Maybe it will come back.

So, this blog. It's here for writing therapy, it's here to track what's been going on, so we can all stay on the same page, so to speak, with each other. It's also here as an awareness project to support mental health – a few of our entries from the past month include a lot of information on what DID/MPD is, and isn’t....

We got asked to write for a blog once, a couple of months ago, for Mental Health Month (from a state mental health organization), but we declined because they didn't like that we swear in our writing.

Fuck that. That's what we had to say about it then, it’s what we say about it now.

The Twitter thing. We've got lots of shit that is in the head, we like to have an outlet to throw it into, flush the system so-to-speak and Twitter is perfect because it's like an Us tracking system, to figure out who was out when they were out...plus, apparently some of the people there on Twitter think we are funny. Sometimes we think we are scary; but, as long as there are miles and screens between us and them/you, then we suppose it can be funny; and you don’t have to be too scared;-)

We're also on Twitter because we've eliminated all of our friends in real life, and it’s not the first time in our 31 years of life it’s happened. Since we took over things here in The Body we decided enough is enough, we're not hiding who we are because it just ends up hurting people, and us. We want to try to get past the hurting, and just let each one of us be us. We're fine with knowing that being open about it is going to mean a life of being by ourselves, likely. We like us; we've been hanging out with us for years.

Okay, so we don't all like each other the same amount, but, we’ve grown on each other like mould - so when people talk to us about therapy, and about melding us all together into one unit; we say screw off, you're not tearing us apart, we are a protective unit, and can’t, nor do we want to, imagine life any other way. This is who we are, together and separate; we are part of each other and nobody is taking that away.

So yeah, we're on Twitter to make friends, to talk to people in the only way we can – and sometimes we like the same people, and sometimes we don’t; which is hard just like in real life.

We've gotten a little flack by some people for living our life on twitter (The Father and Fuck Face, to name a few) which inspired us to write one of our most popular pieces: Birds of A Feather, on Twitter, CAN Flock Together, we wrote that back in January, when we first started Twitter. The Other Girl opened the account in October 2010 to learn how to use it for work, but she disliked Twitter entirely - so when we gave her the axe, we picked it up and started Tweeting like hell. Without her here to control us, we gotten to do whatever we want; we got to exist again. Though, as Frank will tell you, she still makes all the rules; we like to break her rules. (She gets really angry about it sometimes)

What else are we missing here?

If you ever have questions feel free to ask, clearly we are open and want to help people understand this disorder that few people know about and/or acknowledge. We sometimes do question and answer entries like:  We Answer Some Follower Questions; you can almost ask us anything and we will always do our best to answer the questions.

If you want to know how we are working through this, trying to organize each other for Frank (because she used to one of us, and she only knew about Bethany) then you can visit our other blog, where we are working on DID/MPD Mapping – it’s full of information like symptoms, terminology, etc. : http://wearejcmf.blogspot.com/

If you’d rather read poetry, humous stories, reviews of stuff or look at out artwork, that’s all here too. We moved our poetry to another site: http://ourlifepoetic.blogspot.com/ because there is roughly 20 years of it, and this site got pretty full.

We’re also discussing making another blog for our artwork (photography, digital art, paintings, etc.) because that is all currently being store on the http://issueoffrank.blogspot.com/ website.

And, in the future we plan to give Emmie (one of our alters) her own blog, because she writes dirty stuff as a hobby, and Frank doesn’t find that appropriate for here.

So that’s us. The biggest question you had should be answered. Who are “we” and “us”. We are us!

~Frank et al (minus the Frank)
